As a place that conveys the volcanic activity of Hakone to this day, Owakudani is an indispensable destination on the tourist route.

Hakone served as the setting for the anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion" as the "Tokyo-3" city.

JTB Corp. has unveiled a part of the lighting production for the "Demon Slayer: Bathhouse Retreat" experience event, one of the main attractions of the "Locatone™ - Demon Slayer: Bathhouse Retreat," which utilizes voice AR. The event will run concurrently at Yugawara Onsen and Ikaho Onsen in Shibu River from November 11, 2023, to February 12, 2024.

Special wrapping train designed with characters like Eren and Levi, "Seaborne Attack Train," will be in operation for a limited time starting from August 8th, running through the waters of Kyoto.

Yawata Kamado Shrine is located in the Uchikamado district of Beppu City. It's approximately a 5-minute drive from JR Nippo Main Line's Kamegawa Station. The term "Kamado" in the shrine's name holds significance. The protagonist of "Demon Slayer" is named "Tanjiro Kamado." With the shared term in their names and numerous other points in common with the world of "Demon Slayer," fans have started to visit the shrine as a sacred site.
