In the current fiscal year, we are adding new elements and efforts to further appeal to a wider audience, and we are expanding under the theme of "Hello! Carbon Neutral Project 2023" as follows:
Period:
From September 24, 2023 (Sunday) to March 31, 2024 (Sunday)
Key Initiatives for this Fiscal Year:
- Theme set as "Resource Recycling" and "Advanced Technology"
- Promotions leveraging the nationwide recognition of Mr. Kazuhisa Kondo
- Collaborating with "New VibeZ" and "Toyota Zero Carbon Action," initiatives aimed at achieving zero carbon, to promote behavior change across various age groups
Main Initiatives:
<Resource Recycling>
1. Mr. Kazuhisa Kondo's Original Works & Exhibition
An exhibition of past works by Mr. Kazuhisa Kondo, a manga artist residing in Toyota City, who participated as a mechanical designer in the TV anime "Mobile Suit Z Gundam." In addition to his previous works, original works on the themes of "water circulation" and "forest conservation" will be exhibited at T-FACE A Building in Toyota City (1-57-1 Wakamiya-cho, Toyota City) from September 24 (Sunday) to November 30 (Thursday).
2. "Gundam R Operation" (Assembly experience of eco-plastic produced by recycling runners)
Continuing from the previous fiscal year, this year will also feature the "Gundam R Operation" organized by BANDAI SPIRITS. The collection period for plastic model waste materials will be extended compared to the previous year, and efforts will be made to visualize the amount collected to boost recycling enthusiasm.
[October 28 (Saturday) - November 30 (Thursday)] *Assembly experience will be held only on October 28 and 29.
3. Carbon Neutral Film Festival
Similar to the previous fiscal year, a film festival using CO2-free electricity will be held. This fiscal year, the three-part theatrical version of "Mobile Suit Z Gundam" will be specially screened within the city. [Scheduled for February of the 6th year of Reiwa]
<Advanced Technology>
4. "Hello! Carbon Neutral Festival 2023"
In collaboration with "New VibeZ" and "Toyota Zero Carbon Action," a citizen-participation event where people can learn and experience carbon neutrality while having fun will be held. The event will also feature next-generation vehicles (BEVs and FCEVs) wrapped in Gundam style. [October 28 (Saturday)]
