Kyoto Tsutaya Bookstore (Kyoto Takashimaya S.C. [T8] 5F/6F, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City) will open "Sunrise World POP-UP SHOP Kyoto Tsutaya Bookstore" on June 1, 2024 in cooperation with BANDAI NAMCO Film Works. Open for a limited time from Saturday, June 30th to Sunday, June 30th, we will have a sales floor centered on Sunrise robot anime. To commemorate this, we will be holding a "Robot Anime Creators Roots" fair featuring robot anime creators at the same time.

Sunrise has created numerous robot animations, starting with its first work, ``Muteki Choujin Zanbot 3'' in 1977. In 2022, the company changed its shape to Bandai Namco Film Works Co., Ltd., but the name has been inherited as a brand and the company continues to produce video works centered on original works. Sunrise Robot Research Institute, a website launched on May 8th, has released a new experimental video, ``AURA BATTLER DUNBINE SIDE L''.
At the POP-UP SHOP, we will be handling limited order items such as an exhibition of 4 reproduction original drawings that were ordered and sold at the 40th anniversary exhibition of "Sacred Warrior Dunbine" and the 40th official setting material collection of "Armored Trooper Votoms". At the fair that will be held at the same time, we will explore the work and roots of mechanical designers who greatly contribute to the setting of the world of robot anime through the sale of books related to the creators of Sunrise's works and related to Sunrise robots.
In addition, on Saturday, June 15th, a newly released project will be held with Kimitoshi Yamane, who has been in charge of mechanical designs for many Sunrise animations such as "Escaflowne in the Sky," "Cowboy Bebop," and "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED." We will be holding a special talk event with Junpei Mizusaki, director of the new experimental video for "Sacred Warrior Dunbine" "AURA BATTLER DUNBINE SIDE L" and representative of "Kamikaze Douga". Both of them have recently been participating in the "SAND LAND series." We will discuss robot anime and mechanical design to our heart's content from our respective perspectives.

Reproduction original paintings by illustrator Kazuki Miyatake, which were exhibited and sold to order at the "Dunbine 40th Anniversary Exhibition" held in Tokyo in 2023, will be available for order online.

Part.1: A total of 620 pages, Part.2: A total of over 730 pages, a definitive edition consisting of 4 volumes. Each cover features an original illustration drawn by mechanical designer Kunio Okawara. Includes as many settings as possible from materials stored at Sunrise, including novels and game works. In addition to the final draft, it also includes many materials that are still in development by mechanical designer Kunio Okawara and animator Norio Shioyama.
This work, which was previously available for order only at Premium Bandai and other online stores, will be available for order online at this fair, with a limited number of 10 copies each of Part.1 and Part.2.

After graduating from a vocational school in Tokyo, he brought his work to Artomic, an animation planning and production company, and made his debut as a mechanical designer. Participated in Sunrise's work with "Mobile Fighter G Gundam". After that, "Escaflowne in the Sky", "Cowboy Bebop", "Mobile Suit Gundam 08th MS Platoon", "Infinite Levias", "Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN", "Reconguista in G", "Mobile Suit Gundam: Flash of Hathaway", " He has been in charge of mechanical designs for many works including ``Mobile Suit Gundam: The Island of Cucurrus Doan''.

Representative and creative producer of Kamikaze Douga.
Based on his experience in a wide variety of industries including graphic design, games, and animation, he established Kamikaze Douga Ltd. in 2003.
He uses his stylish visual sense and playful artistry to create innovative videos. Representative works include ``Dragon Quest IX Guardian of the Starry Sky'' OP, TV anime ``JoJo's Bizarre Adventure'' OP, and ``Batman Ninja''.
In May 2024, ``AURA BATTLER DUNBINE SIDE L'' was announced in collaboration with Bandai Namco Film Works.
