"Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa" (Location: Shinagawa Prince Hotel, 4-10-30 Takanawa, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Director: Akiko Yamada) will be open from April 25th (Thursday) to June 30th (Sunday), 2024. , will be holding a collaboration event with Riyoko Ikeda's manga work ``Rose of Versailles'' titled ``Rose of Aqua Park - Let's go to the beautiful sea ball!''.
``The Rose of Versailles'' is derived from a manga and has been developed in various genres, including TV animation and stage performances by the Takarazuka Revue, and is loved by a wide range of age groups.
Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa, located in the heart of the city, exhibits 20,000 creatures from around 350 species and conveys its charm through a variety of performances.
This time, the event was held because of the commonality between the works and living creatures, their beauty, and their ability to be loved across generations.
By collaborating with the masterpiece that revolutionized girls' manga when it was serialized, we have created a beautiful and sophisticated world view and content rich in gimmicks.
Guests can immerse themselves in the beautiful world of "bell roses" expressed using digital technology and various decorations, and have fun learning about the ecology of living things through aquariums and performances that include illustrations and dramatic stories.

The theme is “Sea Ball”
One of the charms of ``The Rose of Versailles'' is that the world of glamorous royalty and aristocracy that everyone admires is expressed in the ocean.
Starting from the gorgeous grand staircase painted at the entrance, there are four aquarium areas, including a ballroom where creatures associated with "nobleness" and fish performing unique dances (=swimming) gather, and a rose garden lined with famous scene aquariums. , and a collaboration menu is also available at the cafe bar.
You can also enjoy the "Dolphin Performance" program, which features different day and night programs in which dolphins dance to the tune of an elegant waltz or "Bell Rose", making you feel like you are a character in the story.

◆Escort grand staircase
The setting is reminiscent of medieval European palaces, and the grand staircase has a strong presence. At the top, a shining chandelier was drawn using digital technology. In addition, the brightly blooming roses on both sides of the stairs have an interactive feature where petals dance when you touch them.
A "red carpet" that decorates the feet of guests and decorations featuring the main characters will make the space more gorgeous, and in the central aquarium, a "bellied lionfish" that is as pretty as a rose and has "thorns" will be displayed.
The entrance where you are escorted by Oscar, Marie Antoinette, and fish as you take your first step to the Sea Ball.
You can come dressed up as you like and enjoy taking photos in a glittering scene.

◆Queen's Royal Banquet
This exhibition area features dynamic video production using 22 projectors in one area. The approximately 3.6m walls surrounding it on all sides feature a glittering "palace" interior reminiscent of the setting of the work, and the floor is painted with lovely flower petals to resemble a carpet.
In addition to the familiar characters in this beautiful banquet hall, there are also "Royal Demwazel" and "Royal Gramma" with their "noble" names, "Hekoayu" and "Oiranyouji" who perform unique dances (=swimming), etc. , 14 types of fish gather in 11 aquariums and put on an elegant ball.
There will also be a surprise time featuring the “Black Knight” who steals from the nobles in the story! We have introduced mechanisms that follow the story to further enhance the immersive experience of the world of "Bell Rose".

◆Black Knight Time
The "Black Knight", who was depicted in a scene of intense conflict with the aristocrats in the story, appears in the "Queen's Royal Banquet"! This is a surprise performance that completely transforms an elegant ball.
It emerges from a ``Black Ghost'' aquarium, inspired by the same character, and brilliantly snatches away the jewels (= rockfish) displayed at the venue.

◆Flower garden of memories
This is an atrium-like exhibition space with alternating aquariums and showcases. Here you can enjoy the drawings, decorations, and seven famous aquarium scenes created by the main fish. For example, in the coronation scene of Louis XVI, the words ``King Angel'' and ``Queen Angel'' are used. The display of necklaces and sparkling "diamond tetras" expressed the incident with Jeanne's necklace. In addition, the characters' lines that appear in each scene are also original to the event! A vibrant rose garden has been completed that tells the story of “Ber Rose” with the charm of fish and unique production.

◆White Rose Waltz
A large space approximately 9m wide x 35m deep, with seven cylindrical aquariums and a symbolic aquarium with crystal walls all over. 98 spherical LEDs and aquarium lighting work together with the music, highlighting the charm of the jellyfish and creating a mysterious space filled with countless lights. This time, a 5-minute program will be held that embodies the area's name, ``White Rose Waltz.'' The first half is based on yellow and white lighting to evoke the elegance and nobility of the character. In the second half, the atmosphere changes completely, using blue lighting to express the conflict and suffering behind the glamor.

◆Beautiful Rose Cafe
A cafe bar where pretty flower petals dance throughout the space and a beautiful ``rosary'' welcomes you. Next to the counter is a display of luminescent coral, and on the floor are four cylindrical aquariums decorated with love lines from characters such as "Oscar" and "Andre." Here, we have prepared four limited menus inspired by the works.

Recommended is ``a soup with just a few vegetable scraps.'' I expressed the soup that Rosalie offered to Oscar in the story. Comes with cup sleeves printed with the same scene.
