“Kimagure Orange Road 40th Anniversary Exhibition” will be held in Tokyo and Osaka!

VISION8 Co., Ltd. (EDITION88 Art Gallery) will be opening Yurakucho Marui (Tokyo) from April 26, 2024 (Friday) to May 12, 2024 (Sunday), and June 15, 2024 (Saturday) to June 30, 2024 ( The "Kimagure Orange Road 40th Anniversary Exhibition" will be held at Namba Marui (Osaka Prefecture) on Sunday.
We will be holding an exhibition to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the serialization of the manga "Kimagure Orange Road" by Izumi Matsumoto.
There will be reproductions of manga manuscripts by Izumi Matsumoto, color illustrations, rough drawings, anime setting drawings, and related materials by Akemi Takada, who was in charge of character design for the anime, as well as 88 graphs (prints) autographed by Akemi Takada and anime. New goods with related illustrations are on sale. Please come and enjoy this masterpiece that is still loved by fans today.

In addition to exhibiting reproductions of Izumi Matsumoto's manuscripts, there will also be Akemi Takada's 40th anniversary illustrations created especially for this exhibition, original color drawings from the time the anime was broadcast in the 1980s, and film reproductions of famous scenes from the anime. A total of 200 items will be on display, including framed displays, character setting materials, and other valuable anime materials.

Those who purchase products including the 40th Anniversary Setting Material Collection for 3,000 yen or more including tax at the venue will be able to participate in the autograph session by Akemi Takada.
