■ "GeGeGe no Kitaro & Akuma-kun Fest Summer" Announced!
A joint event for the movie "GeGeGe no Kitaro: The Birth of Kitaro's Mystery" and the series "Akuma-kun," titled "GeGeGe no Kitaro & Akuma-kun Fest Summer," has been confirmed.
Guests: Toshio Furukawa (Mephisto III, Mephisto II from "Akuma-kun"), Junichi Sato (General Director of "Akuma-kun") *Other guest appearances are scheduled.
Contents: Exclusive preview screening of episodes 1 and 2 of "Akuma-kun" (available only at the physical venue), talk show, and more.

A shopping street located in Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture, themed around the works of Mr. Shigeru Mizuki. It will celebrate its 30th anniversary on July 18, 2023.
On the evening of July 29th (Saturday), the day before the event, a "Saturday Night Market" will be held on Mizuki Shigeru Road! Be sure to enjoy it along with the "GeGeGe no Kitaro & Akuma-kun Fest Summer" event!

■ Film Information: "GeGeGe no Kitaro: The Mystery of Kitaro's Birth"
Introduction:
"GeGeGe no Kitaro," an anime beloved for over 50 years. From the first season that aired in 1968 to the sixth season that concluded in 2020, including the 2008 series "Hakaba Kitaro," a total of seven TV series have been produced intermittently.
This film is a completely new feature-length installment of "Kitaro." It delves into the hidden mysteries surrounding the birth of the widely known "GeGeGe no Kitaro."
Continuing from the sixth season of the TV series, Miyuki Sawashiro and Masako Nozawa will be reprising their roles.
Directed by Go Koga (director of "GeGeGe no Kitaro: Nippon Bakuretsu!!") and written by Hiroshi Yoshino (series composition for "Macross Frontier"), with character design by Toshihiro Kawamoto (deputy director of "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time").
