Pop Culture Extravaganza with Anime and Cosplay: 'Nakanoshima Anime Box' Event Coming Soon!

The Osaka Welcome Campaign Executive Committee (Osaka Prefecture, Osaka City, and the Osaka Tourism Bureau) is currently running the "Osaka Kitenai! Campaign" to ensure that visitors from both domestic and international locations have an enjoyable stay in Osaka and explore the prefecture.

In this regard, we are excited to announce the "Nakanoshima Anime Box" event, where various elements of pop culture such as anime and cosplay will come together, taking place at the Osaka City Central Public Hall from November 23, 2023 (Thursday, Holiday) to November 26, 2023 (Sunday). The "Nakanoshima Anime Box" event will feature exhibitions of various anime content, cosplay events, and special live performances by anime song singers. Moreover, we are planning to hold related events throughout Osaka Prefecture and add some special features. Stay tuned for more details, which will be announced in the near future!

Highlights: This popular talk show delves into the history and charm of Japanese anime from various perspectives, including the behind-the-scenes stories of anime creation, the thoughts of creators, voice actors' performances, and music. It's the first public recording of the show. Only on November 24 (Friday), the exhibition will be open from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Location: Exhibition in the lobby of Osaka City Central Public Hall
Highlights: From Japan's renowned figure manufacturer headquartered in Osaka and Kadoma City, "Kaiyodo," the exhibition will feature articulated figures from the "Revoltech" series and a 2-meter-tall "Evangelion Unit-01."
